Army Increases Enlistment Bonuses
The Army will soon be offering larger financial bonuses for enlistments and re-enlistments. New active duty recruits bonuses will increase from $20,000 to $40,000. The maximum payment for prior service members who join the reserve will be doubled from $10,000 to $20,000. The exact amount will vary based military occupational specialty and the length of the enlistment. The new law will also let older recruits sign-on by raising the top age from 35 to 42.
